What does an Advance Healthcare Directive involve?
"An Advance Healthcare Directive lets you specify your preferences for medical care, as well as nominate someone to make healthcare decisions for you. An Advance Healthcare Directive has two parts: A Living Will and a Medical Power of Attorney. A Living Will is where you specify your preferences for health care and medical treatment. You can specify these preferences in advance so they are known if you are later unable to make decisions for yourself.
